Kelsey Magid graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Agriculture Business. She has been in the equine industry for over 15 years and specializes in hunter/jumpers with a background in dressage. Kelsey grew up riding and competing on the local circuits, "A" circuit, and also spent a few years riding quarter horses and showing at AQHA shows throughout Texas winning numerous awards. She believes wholeheartedly in instilling a basic dressage background in each of her riders and concentrating on flat work as the foundation for jumping. Not only does Kelsey want lessons to be fun for every one of her students but she also creates confident riders by teaching proper groundwork and riding technique while setting realistic and achievable goals for each student.

Kelsey also has extensive experience training horses. After riding for just a few years, she started riding and training green horses, off the track Thoroughbreds, as well as problem horses. She developed an extreme passion for the "complicated rides," and truly loves working with and bringing along the more challenging horses.
